Sometimes we have to do things we don’t like to do, or just don’t feel like doing. Otherwise, times we have particular work to do that we dread because we either don’t like it or fear that it won’t work. When our fears and doubts take over they prevent us from getting the work done. Therefore, creating a strategy list of how to deal with this is valuable when this happens, so you need to have a backup plan to get inspired before losing the fire from within!
One of the best strategies I suggest you need to consider is something as simple as changing your location. A simple change of scenery can change your whole attitude. Take your work outside or take your laptop to a coffee shop. It’s a similar effect as if you were having a bad day and your best friend pops in for a coffee or calls you, your mood changes instantly!
Here are the lists of 5 simple strategies that will make you inspired:
-Understanding Employee Engagement as a Spectrum
-Identifying Engaged and Disengaged Employees
-Understanding the Root Organizational Causes of Disengagement
-Giving Rewards or Recognition
-Providing Tools For Success
As a matter of fact, we all have our good and bad moments and even days. Moreover, the list of tools and strategies will recognise your struggles that allow us to move quickly out of destructive headspaces.
So get to it, make your strategy list! Let me know if you have strategies you are already using that you would like to share that will help others.
P.S. Don’t forget that I am offering free 30-minute phone consultations until the 13th February so we can get to know each other and I can help you get some clear direction for the year ahead.
