Do you have a belief that you have to work hard to be successful, or that successful people are always busy? Are you working long hours, still with little results? Are you finding yourself sitting at your desk all day and then at the end of the day wondering what you’ve done and where the time has gone? If this is the case, it may be time to consider the possibility that you may not be being Productive with your time as you could possibly be.

If you haven’t taken time for yourself, to acknowledge who you are and what you are good at, to be thankful for what you already have and to focus on what is important to you, then you cannot expect to feel good, be productive and be on top of your game, it’s that simple!

Think about when you are at your most productive….. it’s after a holiday or a day off! Why, because you took time out for yourself to recharge. When you return to your daily activities after taking time off you are fresh, focused and relaxed. Make this feeling a part of your life, search for activities that give you that ‘recharged’ feeling and work them into your daily routine!

Here are tips or ways to implement so you can keep track on your productivity:

– Make a “lists” of the activities daily and make it a priority
-Know your typical distractors and nix them!
-Take care of yourself (Do things that you can remain stress-free)
-Take some time off

Think of your body like a computer, you have to reboot to get it running at its optimal performance again.

I want to reassure you, that you don’t have to work hard to be successful. Remember, most successful people, aren’t always busy. What it is that successful people do is, they create time in their days to include ‘Me Time’. So go get creating and make your ‘Me Time’ non-negotiable!
