Once upon a time, I was a person who put everyone else’s needs before my own, especially the needs of my clients, my staff, my colleagues and my friends. You know what that got me, frustration, guilt, always feeling on edge, feeling stifled and stuck, I felt like I was always being used, I had a lack of self-esteem, a lack of time, I felt like I never achieved anything and I felt like my rewards never matched my efforts to my success.

I had this crazy preconceived idea and very limiting belief that in order to be successful I had to be number one in my businesses, make a lot of money, work hard and put in the long hours! Whilst I managed to do all of this, I still never felt successful and whilst I couldn’t see it at the time, I felt like this for very obvious reasons.

Did you notice what was missing from my first paragraph…. everything I value? I wasn’t putting myself, my children, and my husband first. Three things that I value most in the world I wasn’t prioritising in my life and the result of not doing this was chaotic and it eventually took its toll on me.

I’m not that person anymore and it’s the best change I could have ever made. Once I took the time to understand who I am and what I value and started to make the things I value most priorities in my business and life everything changed.

I believe if you get the 5 P’s of business right, you will have success. One of those P’s is People! And whilst that covers your staff, the people you network and associate with and your Avatar, it also means YOU! You are the KEY person in your business and your life.

I recently asked a few of my clients for testimonials so I can check in to see where I was adding value to them. I really wanted to share with you what Donna had to say:

I had recently started my new career as a Real Estate Sales Agent & was feeling very overwhelmed with the pressure of learning about a whole new industry and trying to keep the family life at a healthy balance. What a breath of fresh air I found in Marsha, initially I thought ‘how am I ever going to be able to find time for everything & everyone’ but with Marsha’s guidance, resources & support, it is all coming together beautifully. My biggest struggle was learning to adapt my ways & learn to use the computer & the internet to my advantage. Oh, my goodness, who would have thought that by putting everything on my calendar in my computer & colour coding everyone & everything, I am managing to get a hold of all that I need to do. With that now my work/family balance is amazing!!! Marsha told me to be different to everyone else in my field of work, think outside the square & ‘yes’ I have and I am. Of course, there is always the fear of failing but by being true to myself, I am achieving many things in leaps & bounds. Prioritise the important things, and find time for myself is a key factor. So very grateful that I took the first step by contacting Marsha and working through all the tasks that she has set for me, I feel in control & ready to tackle virtually anything. If you want to get started on the right path then get in contact with Marsha.

Thank you for everything, Donna Hannon

Donna is kicking amazing goals in such a short time and feels in control and like she’s achieving. She’s getting to spend time with her family and have amazing growth personally and professionally and make money whilst she’s doing it.

To me, this is the very definition of success!
